Black Women in Fanon's Black Skin, White Masks

In this paper, I focus on the representations of Black women in contrast to men found within Frantz Fanon’s philosophical work Skin, White Masks. propose that while racial dialectical is very significant, he often lacks acknowledgment multidimensionality woman’s lived experience specifically. Drawing theory intersectionality, coined by Kimberlé Crenshaw, argue Fanon does not recognize different layers oppression operating women’s lives degree fails include them his framework both liberation and resistance from oppression.
